Job Description
As a Retail/Wholesale industrial supply distributor located in Ottawa’s East End, we are currently seeking mature, motivated and hardworking individuals to fulfill a 5 Ton & regular delivery position. The position is full-time, permanent Monday to Friday & one Saturday every 6 weeks.
Qualifications
Bilingualism an asset but not required
Good working knowledge of the Ottawa area
Detail oriented and displays a high degree of accuracy in repetitive tasks
Forklift certified or ability to be certified
Able to lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds
Steel toed shoes required
Basic computer skills
Dependable and reliable. Ability to take ownership and initiative
Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
Motivated team player capable of managing multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment
Valid G Class Ontario Drivers Licence
Capable of driving a 5 Ton vehicle
Clean drivers abstract (obtained through Service Canada – https://www.ontario.ca/page/order-drivers-record)
